Liverpool will be looking to put things right after their humiliating loss against Tottenham last weekend when they face Huddersfield at home on Saturday.
Whilst Liverpool had a terrible weekend, Huddersfield had one of the best results in their history as they defeated Manchester United at home, so they’ll be full of confidence.
Jurgen Klopp will be in the opposite dugout to his good friend David Wagner but he won’t want to do his mate any favours as he knows that the Reds need to take all three points and get back on track.
There has been a lot of talk about the team that Klopp should select for this game after some truly shocking individual performances against Spurs.
Who will Jurgen select? Here’s my prediction:
Simon Mignolet
After the horror show at Wembley, there have been calls for Mignolet to be dropped for Loris Karius or Danny Ward. Personally, I’d like to see Ward given a chance but I think Klopp will stick with Mignolet.
Trent Alexander-Arnold
Trent didn’t play against Spurs after his goal in the Champions League but I think he’ll start this game.
Joel Matip
Matip didn’t have a particularly good game against Tottenham either but there’s no way he misses out when fit.
Ragnar Klavan
Klopp needs to give Dejan Lovren some time off after his Wembley meltdown and I think he’ll opt for Klavan over Joe Gomez. In my opinion, he’ll continue to use Gomez in rotation with Alexander-Arnold until Nathaniel Clyne is fit and also, I think he’d like to keep Matip on the right of the back two.
Andy Robertson
Robertson has tended to be selected in home games against sides who Klopp thinks will sit deep. Alberto Moreno has done nothing wrong but I think the Scotsman will get the nod

Jordan Henderson
The captain will start as the number six again, and although he’s unlikely to be tested as much defensively as he was last week, he’ll still need to be on his game against a tenacious Huddersfield midfield.
Gini Wijnaldum
Wijnaldum missed the game with Spurs after taking a knock to his knee in training. He’s back fit now and will take his place in the side.
Emre can
Can was another who didn’t have a great time if thing against Tottenham but I think Klopp will trust him to put in a better performance.
Mohamed Salah
Sarah is having an amazing season and is one of the first names on the team sheet.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain
Philippe Coutinho missed training on Thursday and as Oxlade-Chamberlain has made a few decent cameo appearances in recent games, I think he’ll get a chance to start this game from the wide-left position.
Roberto Firmino
Firmino really could do with getting himself a few league goals. Let’s hope he can do that this weekend!
