After Adam Lallana’s injury against Swansea and Gini Wijnaldum’s international break induced issue, the predicted XI for the visit of Manchester United is a difficult one.
In a game that will need tactical discipline against a star studded United team, Jurgen Klopp has been somewhat handicapped by some notable fitness issues.
Lallana and Wijnaldum are both struggling with injuries suffered whilst away with their national teams, whilst Roberto Firmino and Philippe Coutinho have had long flights to South America.
Both Nathaniel Clyne and Dejan Lovren suffered minor injuries that stopped them joining up with their compatriots, but it looks as though the key components of the back four will be fit.
There are a number of options that Klopp could look at, including a possible change of formation.
