After a midweek FA Cup win at Plymouth, Liverpool are back on Premier League duty on Saturday afternoon as they welcome Swansea City to Anfield.
The Reds get the chance to lay down a marker for the teams playing after them and will be desperate for all three points so they can sit back and see how their title rivals perform.
Swansea, under new manager Paul Clement, are fighting for their lives at the foot of the table and have given Liverpool some very tough games in the recent past so Jurgen Klopp will know that his side will need to be somewhere close to their best in order to win the game.
Team news wise, it looks like Nathaniel Clyne will be fit to play after a rib injury whilst Jordan Henderson should be ok to start too.
Joel Matip is unlikely to feature as Liverpool only found out that he could play on Friday night, which in itself is a joke. With all preparation done with it in mind that he wouldn’t play, he’ll probably be on the bench.
