Liverpool bounced back from defeat at Wembley with two 3-0 home wins against Huddersfield and Maribor, respectively.
The Reds have been good at Anfield this season but on the road, they’ve had some issues and they’ll be hoping to put things right when the travel south to face West Ham on Saturday evening.
The Reds will welcome the latest international break as they have a few players close to returning from injury but they’ll be desperate to go into it on the back of a third-straight win.
Who will Jurgen Klopp select for the game? Here’s my predicted XI:
Simon Mignolet
I could have played in-goal against Maribor and Huddersfield. Let’s hope Mignolet can have another quiet game against the Hammers!
Joe Gomez
Gomez should be feeling great after getting his first England call-up. Hopefully his confidence is high and he can show the country live on TV why he was selected.
Joel Matip
Matip hasn’t really been tested in the last few games. West Ham should pose more problems and as the leader of the back four, he’ll need to be on his game.
Ragnar Klavan
Like Matip, Klavan hasn’t had too much to do recently. West Ham will target him though, probably with Andy Carroll. He’ll need to step up.
Alberto Moreno
Another man who should be feeling great after getting a call up by his national team. Moreno’s transformation from scrap heap to Spain squad has been remarkable. Hopefully he can continue his good form at the London Stadium.

Jordan Henderson
Henderson should have gotten a nice rest in midweek but Gini Wijnaldum’s injury meant he was on early. Either way, he should be in good enough shape to anchor the midfield.
Emre Can
Contract or no contract, Can is a Liverpool player and Klopp said he’ll continue to pick him until Can gives him reason not to.
James Milner
Completing a rather workman-like midfield three is James Milner. He played well in midweek, penalty aside!
Roberto Firmino
With Sadio Mane and Philippe Coutinho out injured, I think Klopp will move Firmino out to the left.
Mohamed Salah
Salah has taken to life in Liverpool like a duck to water. He should have plenty of space against a patched up West Ham defence and he’ll look to continue his goalscoring form against them.
Daniel Sturridge
Two goals in two games for a fit again Sturridge. He played really well against West Ham last year and will be looking to make it three goals in three games.
