Loan Watch: How Liverpool’s players out on loan did at the weekend

After a 4-0 victory over West Ham the Liverpool first team are sitting on top of the Premier League table after the first game, let’s see how the players out on loan did this week.

Ben Woodburn came off the bench for Sheffield United in the 70th minute for Mark Duffy, as the Blades beat QPR 2-1 away in the Championship.

Billy Sharp and David McGoldrick scored for Sheffield and Eberechi Eze got the one for QPR.

Harry Wilson played 61 minutes before being replaced by Florian Jozefoon for Derby as they were beaten 4-1 by Leeds in the Championship.

Tom Lawrence got the goal for the home side but one from Mateusz Klich, a Kemar Roofe double and an Ezgjan Alioski goal meant the away side claimed all three points.

Herbie Kane played the full game for Doncaster Rovers as they beat Wycombe 3-0 in League 1, Mallik Wilks, Joe Wright and John Marquis all scored for the home side.

Shamal George was once again the back-up keeper for Tranmere Rovers, spending the whole game on the bench in a 1-0 win in League Two.

Over in Scotland, Ryan Kent and Ovie Ejaria both started in the 2-0 win over St. Mirren in the SPL, Kent came off for Andy Halliday in the 69th minute and Ejaria played the full game.

Alfredo Morelos and Connor Goldson scored the goals for Steven Gerrard’s Men.

Adam Bogdan missed Hibernian’s 1-1 draw with St. Johnstone due to injury.
