Liverpool have just put in one of their worst performances in recent memory. The worst since Stoke, at least.
Watford are a good side. Their defence was well organised and never looked in any danger. Their attackers bullied the Reds more than a team only just promoted into the Premier League should have been allowed to.
In a mad season in which the title is seemingly anybody’s for the taking, Liverpool, who a few weeks back were among the favourites, have ruled themselves out of the race with a horrific run of results that they should be ashamed of.
