As Liverpool prepare to face Burnley at Anfield on Sunday, we’ve drawn up the starting XI we think Jurgen Klopp is likely to offer faith in.
Following Liverpool’s convincing 3-1 win over Arsenal which only served to underline the Reds’ pedigree against top six sides this season, three points are the bare minimum required here against a Burnley side that have only picked up two points away from home this season.
However, the task will definitely not be as routine as it seems. Burnley are a side known for coping well with adversity and impressing with an infectious work rate.
Liverpool have been renowned for their failures this season (especially since the turn of the year) to break down weaker opposition with low block defences.
