Predicted XI: Liverpool v Crystal Palace

I feel like I can’t be the only Liverpool fan with an inherent fear of Crystal Palace. Since games such as ‘Crystanbul’ and Gerrard’s final Anfield appearance, I never have any particular confidence going into games against the Eagles.

But at the same time, it seems like nothing can go wrong under Jurgen Klopp! An undefeated run of six games has reinstilled confidence into the Reds’ fan base.

The continued struggles of Chelsea and mediocre performances of teams such as Manchester United leaves the door wide open for Liverpool to mount a return to the Champions League.

A win against a Palace side that suffered three losses during October is surely the only acceptable result as Klopp’s team continue to improve.

The only new injury news from a Liverpool standpoint is the possible absence of James Milner, who appeared to take a knock during Thursday’s fixture with Rubin Kazan.

With this in mind, here is my predicted XI:
