Liverpool make the short trip to Stoke on Wednesday for a game that we really should win. Stoke City are a poor side and I’ve never really rated Mark Hughes as a manager. Yes, they do have a few decent players in their ranks, the likes of Joe Allen, Xherdan Shaqiri and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting are all capable of producing some moments of magic and Peter Crouch could be a goal threat too, but they can be got at defensively and I can only see three points for the Reds.
It will be interesting to see what side Jurgen Klopp selects, the likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Dejan Lovren and Andy Robertson all could be in contention for recalls to the defence and with Emre Can, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino missing out against Chelsea, they will all be in line to start the game too. Adam Lallana could also start his first game of the season after he made a late appearance on Saturday evening.

It is massively important that we get back on track in the Premier League, we have dropped to sixth place in the table after the weekend’s draw with Chelsea.
We have a favourable run of fixtures now, that should see us gain a lot of points and put us in a better position in the table.
I can’t see these coping with the pace and inventiveness of our side and can see us scoring a few on Wednesday evening, so I’m going with a 3-1 Liverpool win.
Prediction:
Stoke City 1-3 Liverpool
(Choupo-Moting / Mane (2), Salah)
