Wembley is calling for Liverpool this weekend as the Reds travel south to play Tottenham.
Both sides encountered Champions League trips in midweek and both recorded very good results, Liverpool in Slovenia against Maribor and Spurs in Spain at Real Madrid, so the two sides should be in confident mood for this mouth-watering game on Sunday.
It will be interesting to see what side Jurgen Klopp selects for this game, as I’m sure there will be a few changes.
I’d expect Joe Gomez to return at right back over Trent Alexander-Arnold, also the captain, Jordan Henderson in midfield but I think James Milner was very good in midweek and deserves to keep his place in the starting line-up, the question is, who misses out from Emre Can or Gini Wijnaldum?

The forward three should remain the same with Mo Salah, Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino all registering goals at Maribor, so all three should be in confident mood.
Spurs are a very good side under Mauricio Pochettino, they have a good keeper, are solid at the back, very well-drilled and organised. In midfield, they have a few issues with Victor Wanyama and Mousa Dembele both likely to miss the game but in an attacking sense, they are strong with Christian Eriksen pulling the strings, Dele Alli and Harry Kane are two superb players and score goals for fun wo it will be a tough match for Liverpool and a big test of our credentials.
This season so far, we have drawn far too many games and we really need to start turning those draws into victories. It would be nice if we can do that at Wembley, a place where Spurs have struggled to adapt since it became home for a while due to them building their new stadium, but I do feel this is a game that could go either way and a point wouldn’t be the end of the world, so I will predict a score draw between the two sides.
Prediction
Spurs 2-2 Liverpool (Kane, Alli / Salah, Firmino)
