Last week Jürgen Klopp’s Liverpool went to Villa Park and, quite frankly speaking, took them behind the woodshed.
That same team has traveled just northwest of Munich to the city of Augsburg, where the Europa League Round of 32 awaits.
In yesterday’s pre-match press conference, Klopp made it known that FC Augsburg are no easy opponent to play against in his professional return to the motherland.
Coming off of a 6-0 victory, Liverpool may enter this European fixture with great confidence, but that doesn’t change the fact that in all competitions, the Reds have won only two of their last seven matches. Two.
So, as the struggle for winning form continues, let’s see what to watch for in this Europa League tie.
