Who was Liverpool’s best player against Leeds?

17-year old Ben Woodburn became Liverpool’s youngest ever scorer as the Reds booked a place in the semi finals of the EFL Cup with a hard-fought 2-0 win over Leeds United.

It was an impressive performance from the championship side, who tested Simon Mignolet on a number of occasions and frustrated Jurgen Klopp’s men until Divock Origi broke the deadlock on 75 minutes with a close-range finish following Trent Alexander-Arnold’s exquisite pass.

Woodburn then sealed the victory five minutes later, smashing the ball home at the end of a superb move involving Origi, Mane and eventual supplier Wijnaldum.

Liverpool move a stepped closer to their first silverware under Klopp, though Manchester United and Arsenal could yet stand in their way.

Who did you think was Liverpool’s best player?

You’ll be shown two players, simply pick which of the two you think performed the best and we’ll continue in a ‘Winner-Stays-On’ style.
