Who was Liverpool’s best player against Middlesbrough?

Liverpool made an emphatic return to form and regained second place in the Premier League with a dominant 3-0 victory against struggling Middlesbrough at the Riverside.

Jurgen Klopp made a bold call in dropping out-of-form Loris Karius, though there was little for replacement Simon Mignolet to do as the hosts mustered just three shots on target.

Adam Lallana got the ball rolling just before the half-hour mark with a header from Nathaniel Clyne’s cross before turning provider for Divock Origi, who scored for the fifth consecutive game.

Lallana wrapped up a valuable three points with a cool finish on 68 minutes, nudging the Reds ahead of Arsenal on goals scored.

You’ll be shown two players, simply pick which of the two you think performed the best and we’ll continue in a ‘Winner-Stays-On’ style.
