Liverpool progressed through to the semi-finals of the Champions League against Manchester City with a 5-1 victory on aggregate.
The Reds took a 3-0 lead to the Etihad Stadium following a dominant display at Anfield and they clinched a famous victory against Pep Guardiola’s side in the second leg.
Manchester City turned in an exciting display in the first half and went one up in the 2nd minute as Gabriel Jesus took full advantage of a defensive mishap on Liverpool’s part.
However, in the second-half, Liverpool turned in a resilient and ruthless performance as Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino secured a huge win for the Reds.
