Liverpool’s first team might be struggling to find consistency but the club’s U23 side are performing really well and went five points clear at the top of the Premier League 2 thanks to a 3-1 win over Manchester United.
Trent Alexander-Arnold, Ovie Ejaria, Marko Grujic, Danny Ings, Jon Flanagan and Ben Woodburn all started for Liverpool and those players simply had too much for United.
