AC Milan are set to submit a fresh bid for Liverpool target Ozan Kabak in January, according to Milan News [via Tuttosport].
The Reds have been linked with a move for the Schalke centre-back in the next transfer window, in order to tackle their current injury crisis.
With Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez both potentially missing the rest of the season, it could be that Jurgen Klopp brings in a new face.
A move for Kabak may be off the table, with this latest report claiming Milan are expected to bid for the 20-year-old in January, having failed to sign him during the summer.
The Serie A giants are believed to be in contact with the player’s representatives.

It is unknown whether or not Liverpool’s interest in Kabak is genuine, but this could be a potential blow.
The young centre-back is a cheaper option than someone like Dayot Upamecano or Kalidou Koulibaly, and is at an age where he would be a long-term addition.
Klopp could possibly be happy with the options at his disposal, however, even with Van Dijk and Gomez out.
There is a huge risk in that respect, though, considering Joel Matip’s injury-prone nature, not to mention the inexperience of Nathaniel Phillips and Rhys Williams.
If a deal for Kabak could be struck, it would be worth it, with the Schalke man winning an impressive average of 3.3 aerial duels per game in the Bundesliga this season.
