Liverpool defender Adam Lewis has agreed a deal to sign for Ligue 2 club Amiens, according to reports from France.
The 20-year-old full-back apparently passed a medical with Amiens on Monday and as such, he’s expected to formally be announced as the club’s latest signing at some point today.
Amiens will, according to the reports, have the option to sign the left-back on a permanent basis next summer if he impresses during his loan spell in France.

Andrew Robertson is clearly Liverpool’s first-choice at left-back at present and the arrival of Greek star Kostas Tsimikas means that the Reds have at least two options ahead of Lewis in the pecking order, so his chances of getting much game time in the future looked slim at best.
A move away seems like the best option for all parties and hopefully, the defender will be able to make a name for himself in France.
