Liverpool left-back Alberto Moreno has been declared fit for the trip to the Etihad after picking up a knock in the warm-up at Goodison Park on Saturday.
Moreno, who has only made the twelve Premier league appearances this season, has been surplus to requirements since the arrival of the Scottish let-back Andrew Robertson.
Robertson has stamped his name firmly on the team-sheet on a weekly basis with some exceptional performances for the Merseyside club since making the switch, also providing four assists.
However, the return of the Spaniard will be great news for Manager Jurgen Klopp, who will need as many options as he can possibly get in the coming weeks, with the season reaching the business end.
Liverpool will need to rotate to keep players fit and firing and having Moreno available will be a welcome boost for Klopp who has become used to losing players through injury in recent weeks.
