The Reds host the Blues in the Merseyside derby on Saturday evening, looking to avoid a fourth successive defeat at Anfield.
Tuesday’s 2-0 win at RB Leipzig suggests Jurgen Klopp’s men may have turned a corner, however, as they took control of their Champions League tie.
The Liverpool Echo report that Brazilian pair Alisson and Fabinho didn’t take part in training, however, although neither have been officially ruled out of the game.

It should be noted that Caoimhin Kelleher was also not seen, so the hope is that Liverpool’s goalkeepers were simply doing their own thing away from the cameras.
Alisson responded to two poor performances with a good display against Leipzig and his experience of derbies will be much-needed on Saturday.
Fabinho’s lack of involvement suggests he will again miss out through injury, however, having not played against Leicester City or Leipzig.
That would likely mean Ozan Kabak and Jordan Henderson partnering one another at centre-back again – a far-from-ideal situation for Jurgen Klopp.
