Anderlecht are reportedly interested in making Lazar Markovic’s loan deal at the club a permanent move this summer.
According to Belgian journalist Pieter-Jan Calcoen, Anderlecht do not have the option to sign Markovic as part of the loan deal but will attempt to prise him away from Liverpool anyway.
Markovic joined the Brussels based club in January of this year but has only made six appearances, scoring once in a 2-1 defeat at Genk.

A lot was expected of the Serbian when he arrived in Merseyside from Benfica in a 2014 deal worth £20m.
The winger made 34 appearances in his first season at Anfield, but has since struggled to get a look in at the club.
Anderlecht are Markovic’s fourth loan club since he’s beeon on the books of the Reds, having previously spent time with Fenerbache, Sporting Lisbon and Hull City.
It seems clear the 24-year-old doesn’t have a future under Jurgen Klopp and will be keen to move on this summer for the good of his career.
