Liverpool target Nicolo Barella would reportedly prefer the idea of remaining in Italy, amid interest from Serie A giants Inter.
According to a report from Calciomercato, Inter are the latest team to express an interest in the player who has been impressing for Cagliari.
Both Milan sides have been linked in the past, but it is believed that Inter could now enter the running with a bid for the midfielder.

The report claims that Barella would be intrigued by a move to one of the Italian big hitters, rather than a move abroad.
Barella is valued between £30-£35 million by the Italian club and has been linked with a move to Liverpool and Tottenham in recent months.
Reports claimed Liverpool would like to utilise Ragnar Klavan’s recent move to Cagliari to boost their chances of landing the player in the summer.
The Reds are also being linked with a free transfer for Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsey, with Jurgen Klopp keen to bolster his midfield.
