Bournemouth are reportedly in talks to sign Liverpool winger Harry Wilson.
According to the Daily Mail, Eddie Howe is eager to sign Wilson and is willing to pay Liverpool £25 million in order to complete a deal.
Wilson had an impressive 2018/19 season at Derby County under Frank Lampard. The winger netted 18 goals and provided six assists in 49 appearances across all competitions as the Rams reached the final of the Championship play-off final, only to lose to Aston Villa.
Following the end of his loan spell, Wilson returned to Liverpool and featured in the club’s pre-season friendlies, scoring a stunning goal against Lyon recently.
Wilson plays as a right winger, which is the preferred position of Mohamed Salah. Liverpool already have an ideal back-up for Salah in Xherdan Shaqiri, making it unlikely for Wilson to feature on a regular basis at Anfield going forward.
Bournemouth already have a brilliant winger in Ryan Fraser, who was excellent last season. The Cherries also have the likes of Jordon Ibe and Junior Stanislas in their ranks.
The addition of Wilson will certainly strengthen their attack as Eddie Howe’s team aim to better Premier League finish this time around.
