Liverpool striker Rhian Brewster is edging closer to a return to full first-team training, according to a report from The Liverpool Echo.
The 18-year-old has been working lightly for some months now but has yet to resume full training as he continues to work his way back from a long-term ankle injury.
Brewster is held in high esteem at Anfield and has been tipped for big things. The blow stalled his development, but it seems he is making significant steps in his recovery.

The striker has been sidelined for just over a year after sustaining severe damage to his ankle in Liverpool Under-23s’ fixture against Manchester City Under-23s.
Brewster will not be rushed back into full first-team training, according to the report, but there is evident optimism that he will be back on the pitch at Melwood at the start of next week.
Liverpool are well stocked with senior striking options, but Jurgen Klopp will be aware of the potential that the youngster possesses.
