After a successful first season in the Premier League, Wolves manager Nuno Santo has his sights set on Liverpool youngster Rafael Camacho, according to reports in the Football Insider.
It is suggested Camacho won’t be renewing his contract with Jurgen Klopp and has had offers from many clubs, including clubs from Borussia Dortmund, Sporting and RB Leipzig.
Camacho has been valued at £10 million and Wolves are willing to pay this and have gone as far as offering him a five-year deal to join the club this summer.
Since being at Liverpool, Camacho has been primarily played at right-back but he is instead hoping to play a more advanced role.
In 20 youth team appearances this season, Camacho has scored 12 goals and has contributed eight assists, so it is easy to see why he is wanting to prove himself as a striker rather than sticking it at right-back.
With the offer that Wolves have come up with it’ll be tough for Liverpool to keep hold of the promising youngster, especially with multiple other clubs interested in him too.
