Officials at Chelsea believe that Liverpool are interested in signing Timo Werner, according to the Mirror.
It is mentioned that the RB Leipzig striker could be Premier League-bound, whislt the Reds linked with a move for him this summer.
It is claimed that Chelsea believe there could be interest in Werner, who is valued at £67.5 million by Transfermarkt, from the Reds
The 23-year-old has scored 20 goals and registered six assists in the Bundesliga this season, helping Leipzig to second place in the table.

Werner would be a fantastic signing by Liverpool, in my opinion, in many ways ticking every box required to be a success under Jurgen Klopp.
A menace in the final third, as 86 goals in 143 appearances for Leipzig proves, the striker is also hard-working and versatile, capable of thriving centrally or out wide.
The one issue, however, which also applies with the likes of Liverpool-linked pair Jadon Sancho and Kylian Mbappe, is that I struggle to see Werner making a move whilst Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino all still at the club.
The German is an established top-level player who would likely want to play every week, but how would you fit him into the team alongside the front-three?
Klopp could switch to 4-2-3-1 formation, dropping Firmino deep, but that would be an extremely attacking option.
If Werner is happy to come in and not be a guaranteed starter every week, however, I believe he would be a great signing.
