Liverpool could reportedly miss out on the chance to sign long-term target Piotr Zielinski, with rivals Chelsea reportedly plotting a big-money bid.
According to TEAMtalk, Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri has demanded that Zielinski and his Napoli teammate Kalidou Koulibaly are signed this summer in a double deal.
Sarri believes that both Koulibaly and Zielinski could help Chelsea compete against the very best next season.

Both players have been long-term targets for the London club, with Koulibaly often linked with a Premier League move in the past.
Zielinski was linked with Chelsea over the summer, with Sarri a huge admirer of the player.
Liverpool are also keen and are expected to push to sign the player in either January or the summer.
Sarri worked with the Polish playmaker at Empoli and was also keen to bring him to London, but Napoli reportedly blocked any further transfer activity between the two clubs after lengthy negotiations throughout the summer.
