Chelsea will reportedly rival Liverpool in their pursuit of Nabil Fekir this summer.
According to a report in L’Equipe, as cited by Calciomercato, the Blues are among a host of clubs who have expressed an interest in signing the Lyon star.
It’s claimed that Liverpool’s negotiations to sign Fekir from the Ligue 1 outfit are not at an advanced stage just yet, but it appears as though there is plenty of Premier League interest in the 24-year-old and the Reds are one of the teams who are admirers of him.
Fekir is enjoying an excellent season in France and has established himself as a talismanic figure for Lyon in recent seasons.
The playmaker is a coveted asset for Lyon and they will undoubtedly be desperate to retain his services. However, a move to the Premier League could prove to be a lucrative proposition for the player, who is yet to play for an English club.
The Reds are likely to chase a deal to sign the French international, but Chelsea will be doing the same.
