According to a report in The Independent, Divock Origi’s father has declared that his son could make a move to Tottenham Hotspur.
The talented Belgian international joined Liverpool for £10million back in 2014, after an impressive World Cup, but he has fallen out of favour at Anfield and is yet to start a game this season. In fact, he has only been given a meagre nine minutes of football this campaign.
This lack of action is unlikely to change any time soon as he finds himself behind Daniel Sturridge, Roberto Firmino, and Dominic Solanke in the pecking order. To add to this, Danny Ings will soon return from injury, further decreasing his chances of getting decent game time.

Therefore, at this stage in his career, it could be best for him if he moved to a club which would guarantee him regular football, and his father has even gone as far as to state that this is exactly what his son needs to do.
When asked about his son’s future, he stated:
Divock has to leave Liverpool to get more playing time. Tottenham is a possibility, but there is also interest from France and Germany.
Therefore, with plenty of clubs interested in acquiring his services, it looks highly likely that Origi will leave Anfield before the transfer window slams shut on Thursday night.
