Another of the charity’s ambassadors, songwriter Amir Teima, took to social media to praise the impact that Salah has had, calling him the most influential Egyptian since the 1970’s.

As well as leading Egypt to the World Cup, Salah has captured the hearts of his nation with his magnificent goalscoring form for Liverpool, and he’s using his fame and popularity to good effect.
Salah, who remains an injury doubt for Saturday’s Merseyside derby at Goodison Park, is hoping to be fit in time for the second leg of Liverpool’s Champions League quarter-final against Manchester City on Tuesday evening.
The Reds go into the game with a 3-0 aggregate lead but with injuries piling up, they will hoping to have their talismanic forward fit and firing for the game.
