Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has set a deadline for the return of midfielder Emre Can. The German international has been out since March after injuring a bone in his back in the win over Watford. However, Klopp is confident the midfielder will be back in time for the Champions League final.

He told The Independent that Can will miss the game at Chelsea but that he expects him to be back in training by Monday so they can assess his situation.
An important day for Emre is next Monday and then we can make the decision if he starts training with us immediately or not. It would only be good news for the final, probably not for the last game of the season.
Liverpool progressed to their first Champions League final for 11 years after beating Roma in midweek and will face Real Madrid in Kiev, who are chasing their third straight Champions League trophy.
Klopp’s men are also seeking back-to-back top-four finishes for the first time and they face Chelsea on Sunday knowing that a top four place will be confirmed if they avoid defeat.
If Can does get himslef fit for the final, it would likely be his last game for the club as he looks set to join Juventus on a free transfer.
