Fabinho and James Milner are out for this weekend’s Merseyside derby at Anfield, Jurgen Klopp has confirmed.
Liverpool host Everton on Saturday evening, as they aim to build on their midweek victory over RB Leipzig.
The Reds have lost their last three Premier League games at Anfield, so that needs to change on Saturday.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Klopp confirmed that both Fabinho and Milner were still unavailable due to injury:
Klopp's injury update:
Keita has trained with the team.
Fabinho not in training.
Nobody else back to returning either. No Milner.

Liverpool’s injury problems continue to hold them back, with Fabinho and Milner such key performers, particularly the former.
The Brazilian’s absence means Ozan Kabak and Jordan Henderson look likely to continue as a centre-back pairing against Everton, with Gini Wijnaldum, Thiago and Curtis Jones making up the midfield.
Naby Keita could be an option to start in the middle of the park, but he is likely to be on the substitutes’ bench, given his lack of match sharpness.
