Fabinho is back in “the next week or so”, according to Jurgen Klopp, meaning he will miss Liverpool’s Premier League clash with Brighton on Wednesday night.
The Reds take on the Seagulls at Anfield, in what represents another must-win game for the champions.
Liverpool have regrouped impressively after a poor run, winning away to Tottenham and West Ham, and the hope is that their momentum continues to grow.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference on Tuesday afternoon, Klopp confirmed that Fabinho’s return isn’t far away.

Having Fabinho back will be a massive boost, but that looks unlikely to arrive against both Brighton and Manchester City on Sunday, with the latter a particularly huge game.
The Brazilian has arguably been the Reds’ Player of the Year so far, shining at centre-back, but he will hopefully be able to return to midfield upon his return.
The signings of Ben Davies and Ozan Kabak have helped in that respect, giving Liverpool more centre-back options and seeing Fabinho back in the No.6 role he excels in.
