Fabinho “will be back” for Liverpool’s crucial meeting with Manchester City this weekend, according to the Mirror‘s David Maddock.
The Brazilian has been absent for the last two games against Tottenham and West Ham, missing out through injury.
Liverpool have got by impressively without him, however, with Nathaniel Phillips and Jordan Henderson thriving at centre-back in the wins at Tottenham and West Ham.
That being said, Fabinho’s return is much-needed and Maddock claims that he will be fit for Sunday’s visit of City, in a game that could have such a major bearing on the title race.

This is an enormous boost for Liverpool, with the 27-year-old arguably the Reds’ best player so far this season.
His experience and quality in place of Phillips is required against an incredibly talented City side leading the way in the league, and he will likely partner Henderson at the back.
With Ben Davies and Ozan Kabak now Liverpool players, it will be interesting to see how Fabinho is used moving forward.
It may be that Jurgen Klopp regularly partners the Brazil international with one of them, or even lets him return to his favoured midfield role, with Henderson staying in defence or the new arrivals playing alongside each other.
