Talented winger Harvey Elliott has been pulling up trees this season in the Championship on loan with Blackburn Rovers, and some Liverpool fans have already started outlining what lies next for him.
The 17-year-old has provided two goals and four assists in 11 appearances so far this season for the Lancashire club, including one sublime goal last week which drew comparisons to current Reds star Mohamed Salah.
Once described by Jurgen Klopp as an ‘exceptional talent’, Elliott was signed by the Reds from Fulham in 2019 and has since made a handful of first team appearances in cup competitions.
However, with the arrival of Diogo Jota and with Xherdan Shaqiri, Takumi Minamino, and Divock Origi all struggling to break into Klopp’s plans, the first team path for Elliott at Anfield seemed a daunting one, hence the decision to loan him out to Blackburn.
