The 20-year-old made the move to Anfield at the beginning of the week, joining on loan until the end of the season.
Kabak was part of a Schalke side sitting bottom of the Bundesliga, however, and reports in Germany suggest he hasn’t impressed in 2020/21.
It is claimed that the Turkey international he has ‘fallen short’ in Germany, failing to reach his potential, with the article citing a number of poor player ratings handed to him throughout the campaign.

While the report may be slightly concerning, Jurgen Klopp is unlikely to lose much sleep over it.
Kabak could do little about Schalke’s struggles, but he is now moving to a team at the end opposite of a league table.
Andy Robertson and Gini Wijnaldum arrived after being in poor sides at Hull City and Newcastle United respectively, but both have become huge players for Liverpool. There is no reason why Kabak won’t be any different.
He is an exciting young player with lots of potential, and Klopp and Michael Edwards’ record in the transfer market suggests he could be another shrewd acquisition.
If not, Liverpool will simply not retain his services beyond the summer, putting them in a win-win situation.
