Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard has issued a warning to Liverpool critics, as he insists the next few games against sides including Manchester United and Tottenham are a great opportunity for the club to prove themselves, as reported by the Independent.
Gerrard believes Jurgen Klopp can silence his critics, as he looks to help Liverpool out of an underwhelming spell of form.

I can see Jurgen is a little bit frustrated at the moment but so are we all. But we are seven games in and Liverpool are capable of going on a long run of winning games.
The Reds have made a fairly inconsistent start to the season, as they managed just one win from seven in September, including a 4-0 thumping at Manchester City.
Liverpool sit seven points off the top of the table in seventh place, but Gerrard, the club’s current under-18 coach, thinks this could all change come the 14th October.

But Gerrard said he relishes these games, which offer the squad a great opportunity to prove themselves.
I cannot wait for those two games because watching Liverpool since Jurgen has come in they are the games where Liverpool seem to prove everyone wrong and put in top-class performances.
I think their record against the top sides is the best so if I was a Liverpool player or the Liverpool manager, those games can’t come quick enough.
