Gianluigi Buffon said today, in his exit speech, that he has ‘interesting proposals’ which adds further fuel to the rumours that the Italian may be on his way to Anfield, according to the Daily Mirror.
The Juventus captain announced on Thursday morning that he would be leaving Turin at the end of the season after 17 years at the club.

At 40 years of age, most people would have assumed the Italian international would ready to retire, but that may not be the case.
Buffon said:
Until a few a days ago, I was certain I would retire from football. Now some interesting proposals have arrived. I live to take myself out of my comfort zone and accept exciting challenges.
These comments arrive just hours after reports suggested that the Reds were interested in bringing the Juventus legend to Anfield.
Loris Karius is currently Jurgen Klopp’s number one, however, reports claim that the Liverpool board are considering bringing Buffon to the club to challenge the German shot-stopper for the jersey.
