Despite rumours last week that he could join Liverpool, Gianluigi Buffon is on the verge of signing for Paris Saint Germain.
According to Di Marzio, Buffon is set to join the French champions on a two-year deal after managing to persuade him to join them instead of other interested clubs, such as Liverpool.
If everything goes to plan, Buffon may be announced as a PSG player on Wednesday.
Liverpool became interested when Buffon announced he would be leaving Juventus after spending 17 years at the club.
The Reds have had their fair share of goalkeeper problems this season as they have struggled to decide who their strongest keeper.
Lorius Karius has improved in the second half of the season but has still left the club and fans with some doubts.
Buffon was set to retire when he left Juventus but changed his mind and decided his playing career is not over yet.
