Former England international goalkeeeper Ben Foster has outlined the importance of Jordan Henderson to Liverpool, describing his absence as a “massive loss”.
Foster was part of the Watford team that beat the Reds 3-0 on Saturday, as the Premier League leaders’ hopes of an unbeaten season ended at Vicarage Road.
Liverpool were never at the races at any point, with the hosts more than deserving of their victory in the end.
Henderson was again absent through injury, as he continues to recover from a hamstring issue, and he was missed hugely.
Speaking to talkSPORT on Monday, Foster gave some fascinating analysis of Saturday’s game, singling out the Liverpool captain for special praise:
"Our concentration was absolutely incredible." 👏
"Henderson is a massive loss for Liverpool." ✅

Henderson’s influence has been vast the more the season has gone on, and his return can’t come soon enough.
Klopp’s men seemingly missed his leadership and drive against Watford, and while he has lost plenty of games as a Liverpool player in the past, there is no denying how influential the captain has been this season.
Hopefully, he will be back in time to face Atletico Madrid in the Champions League next Wednesday, where his passion and quality would be a massive addition.
