Liverpool midfielder Allan Rodrigues de Souza was all set to spend another season on loan at Hertha Berlin as he’s yet to qualify for a work permit to play for the Reds.
However BILD are reporting that Hertha have cancelled that agreement and that the player will now return back to Liverpool.
Apparently Liverpool tried to put terms into the agreement that the player would feature more prominently in the side and that the German club would need to pay a larger fee if he didn’t.
In order for the Brazilian to qualify for a work permit, Liverpool need him to be playing regular football and that wasn’t the case at Belin last season.
The player’s representatives will now need to find Allan a club to go out on loan to next season as he won’t be available for selection for the Reds.
