James Milner sent out a frustrated message to his Liverpool teammates after their 1-1 draw with West Brom on Sunday.
The Reds had to settle for a point at Anfield, as Sam Allardyce again frustrated them.
Sadio Mane’s opener was cancelled out by Semi Ajayi’s equaliser late on, as Jurgen Klopp’s men produced an insipid performance.
Milner spent the entire 90 minutes on the substitutes’ bench, but he was clearly watching on as irritated as the supporters.
Posting on Twitter after the game, the 34-year-old sent a rather pointed message to his colleagues, saying such sloppiness will be punished in the Premier League:
Drop your levels and you get punished in this league. We have to bounce back quickly and be ready in a few days time #YNWA pic.twitter.com/530HIXYSSf

It was a bitterly disappointing afternoon at Anfield, with Liverpool curiously flat, having had eight days off.
The Reds can often lose rhythm when they haven’t played for a prolonged period and that appeared to be the case on Sunday.
It was arguably a surprise that Milner wasn’t brought on to manage the game before the equaliser, given his experience and professionalism, but it may be that he wasn’t deemed 100 percent fit.
The hope is that this is merely a bump in the road for Liverpool, but another draw against lowly opposition has to be considered a slight concern.
