Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson is back in training but he is not fit enough to be part of the Reds’ squad for the trip to Belgrade to face Red Star in the Champions League.
Henderson has been out of action with a hamstring injury sustained on October 20th at Huddersfield and whilst his recovery is going well, he is not fit enough to play just yet.

Jurgen Klopp hopes to have the 28-year-old back for the home game against Fulham on Sunday and as such, he will stay at Melwood this week to work on his fitness.
He told the official Liverpool website:
Hendo was close, but not close enough. He needs two proper sessions for his fitness, which he will get at Melwood.
Liverpool know that a win in Belgrade will put them in a very strong position in Group C as they’ll be sitting top on nine points. However, a defeat will see them leapfrogged by either Napoli or PSG, depending on the result in the game between the Italian and French giants.
