Jurgen Klopp “looking forward” to fans’ return to Anfield for final game of the season

Last night provided a huge boost in Liverpool’s hopes of a top four finish at the end of the season.

The Reds faced Burnley away and came back to Anfield with three points after a dominant 3-0 win.

The game was the first in which fans had returned to stadiums for Liverpool, with them overcoming the Burnley faithful.

Following the win, Jurgen Klopp took to his post-match interview duties, speaking on the clubs final game of the season.

Sunday will see Liverpool’s final game of the season, facing Crystal Palace at Anfield.

With the Reds sat in fourth after last night’s win, the final flourish to secure Champions League football is in their hands.

The German remarked how excited he is to have fans back at Anfield to help the squad make it over the line…

As cited by Football Daily, Klopp is clearly very excited to have the Reds faithful back in attendance for such an important game.

Liverpool fans know how important it is for the squad to see that support in the stands.

With Liverpool in need of three points on Sunday, the support of the Kop could not be more important.

So far this season, the Reds have already managed to cruise out 7-0 against Palace at Selhurst Park.

Another win of this magnitude would obviously be a perfect finish for the club after a tough season.

However, three points in any manner would round off a huge success this season with Champions League football.
