Jurgen Klopp is keen on signing Torino centre-back Gleison Bremer in January, according to Tuttosport [via Sport Witness].
Liverpool could delve into the transfer market this month, as they look to ease their shortage in defence.
With Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip all out injured, the need for reinforcements is clear.
This latest report claims that Klopp is ‘pushing’ for the signing for Bremer, with the Brazilian impressing for Torino since joining from Atletico Mineiro in 2018.
It is, however, noted that there is nothing ‘concrete’ regarding a potential move at the moment.

Bremer is the type of dominant centre-back Liverpool could do with, considering how threadbare they are in that department.
The 23-year-old has an 86.4 percent pass completion rate in Serie A this season, also winning an average of 1.9 aerial duels per game. He is also averaging 1.1 tackles and 2.4 interceptions, highlighting his defensive nous.
It doesn’t appear to be a strong rumour, though, and it remains to be seen if Klopp signs a defender this month.
The Liverpool manager has earned supporters’ trust in him, but not making an addition would represent a big risk in the Premier League title race.
