Keita subbed off injured at Wolves

Liverpool midfielder Naby Keïta was forced off with an injury as the Reds won 2-0 against Wolves at Molineux.

The Guinea international midfielder was replaced by Adam Lallana shortly before the hour mark, after having gone down on the halfway line.

While it isn’t initially clear exactly what the injury was or what the extent of it is, the former RB Leipzig man did look in some discomfort.

Keïta had taken a knock early into the first half and was picture holding his side, but it isn’t clear whether that played a factor into his substitution.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp will hope the knock isn’t serious, with the busy festive period upon us and injuries mounting on Merseyside.
