Liverpool’s in-demand 22-year-old Ryan Kent could be given a run of games during pre-season, according to the Daily Record.
The young forward is reported to have caught the eyes of a few clubs with newly-promoted Aston Villa said to be one of them, as well as Scottish club Rangers, who he spent the 2018/19 season on loan with.
However, Jurgen Klopp could yet cast an eye over the player before making any transfer decision.
It has been reported by the Liverpool Echo that Kent will only be allowed to leave if the Reds’ £12 million evaluation is met, which could spell bad news for Rangers manager Steven Gerrard.
The 22-year-old appeared 38 times for the Gers last season, scoring six goals, sparking talk of a permanent deal in the summer.
Kent came through the ranks at Liverpool but has never been handed his official debut by the club.
