Jurgen Klopp has admitted that the lure of Barcelona and Real Madrid could be too much for key players such as Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino to turn down.
The Reds are currently the leading club side in the world, playing superb football and sitting on the verge of Premier League glory.
On the face of it, no player should want to leave Liverpool, but he thinks that a move to Barca and Madrid ccould be tempting for any player.
Speaking to the Independent, Klopp admitted that the pair of La Liga giants are arguably the only clubs who could lure his star names away from Anfield:
I think for some players, if Barcelona or Real call, it’s still hard to say ‘no’. I think for the whole world, Liverpool are one of the top, top, top, top clubs.
But in the South American part of the world, the other two are a bit more famous which makes sense language and culture-wise.
It’s why calls from them could always cause some trouble, but apart from that, there’s not 500 clubs who could buy players from us.

On the face of it, I see no reason why Salah, Mane or Firmino would want to leave a club thriving as much as Liverpool.
With the trio all approaching their late 20s, however, they may feel they have one more big move left in them.
There is a prestige about playing for Barca or Madrid that is undeniable, with so many all-time great players plying their trade at those clubs down the years.
The likes of Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Ronaldinho and Zinedine Zidane are just a few names who spring to mind, and following in their footsteps has an understandable level of appeal.
I certainly wouldn’t rule out the idea of one of Liverpool’s brilliant front-three heading to Spain one day, but I don’t expect to see it in the near future. They all appear too settled in a team at the peak of its powers.
