According to reports from the Telegraph, even though Klopp has led Dortmund to two Bundesliga successes, this time, he has more confidence in a team than he has ever had before.
I have never been part of a final with a better team than this.
With Mo Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk and Roberto Firmino the Liverpool side is looking extremely strong. But will they succeed against a strong Spurs side?
Klopp seems very positive having compared the team he took to the final last year and the team he is taking to the final this year.
This team is not even to compare with the team of last year. It is good.
He also stated that the events of last year, their 3-1 loss in Kiev to Real Madrid, have really impacted the headspace of the players this year:

Klopp is extremely motivated to win this final. Having only narrowly missed out on the Premier League title to champions Manchester City, he will want to show that his team are capable of winning the Champions League title.
