Jurgen Klopp has warned his Liverpool side that Red Star Belgrade will be no easy opponents on Wednesday evening.
The Reds welcome their Serbian counterparts to Anfield in the third round of Champions League group stage fixtures, with Klopp’s men keen to return to get back to winning ways in the competition.
Liverpool opened their European campaign with a 3-2 win against PSG but were consigned to a 1-0 defeat away at Napoli in the most recent fixture of the group stages.

Klopp, as quoted by Reuters UK, addressed the media ahead of his side’s fixture against Red Star Belgrade and urged Liverpool against any complacency heading into the clash.
They are the top team in Serbia and they bring confidence with them. They are used to winning football games and we have to make sure they cannot come in that mood.
You can see that they live their big dream… this generation has come through like a miracle and now they want to extend it. That’s how I would motivate my boys if it was about that and that’s what makes them dangerous.
A win for Liverpool could see them return to the top of Group C, with PSG coming up against Napoli in the other group stage clash. Red Star, however, will be out to cause an upset and clinch their first win of the campaign.
