Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge is set to be blocked from leaving the club this summer, by instruction from Jurgen Klopp.
The Mirror claim that the Reds’ boss will refuse to let the England man go during the window, as it will be ‘too costly to replace him’.
Klopp is said to believe that any price that his side would receive for the 27-year-old would be far less than the value of a competent replacement.

Sturridge managed to make just 20 league appearances last term, with many coming from the bench, in a season where he suffered two major injury setbacks.
The forward netted seven times in all competitions, but it is widely believed that a move elsewhere to obtain regular game time would certainly benefit his game.
And if Sturridge is keen to make the English world-cup squad for next summer, it surely wouldn’t be a smart move to be stuck on the Liverpool bench all season.
It is understood that West Ham and European giants Paris St-Germain were interested in signing the striker.
